Tour de floors

a celebration event of ICM's new art

Thursday, June 13, 2013 - 14:00 to 17:00

The artist Mille Kalsmose-Hjelmborg and Mie Mørkeberg has created our new art at our department ICM.

We had a splendid afternoon with the MPP & ICM Art initiative completed with delightful musical entertainment by Brit Hein. As a special treat we had life speeches by Sudhanshu Rai and Ole Bjerg on Art, Life and Work and how these connect to spirituality, materiality, lightness and darkness or summer and winter.

Mille Kalsmose has made a playful rendition of the theme of the torii gate trail that stretches up into the cedar forest behind the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto. In the torii you'll find names of ICM research projects carved into the back of each gate. The extra twist, of course, is that this Shinto shrine is dedicated to the God(dess) of rice and business!

Please enjoy at ICM and MPP
