Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is an internationally recognised business university with deep roots in the Nordic socio-economic model. With a broad social science profile, CBS conducts research at the intersection of business, society and leadership – with a strong focus on disciplinary depth and interdisciplinary insight.

CBS addresses some of today’s most pressing societal challenges, including the green transition, responsible leadership, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and the future of work. Research at CBS is organised across 11 departments and a number of research centres and cross-disciplinary initiatives. Together, they represent a significant share of Denmark’s leading research in fields such as sustainable leadership, finance, innovation, entrepreneurship, digital technologies, organisational studies and corporate governance.

Research at CBS is organised in departments and centres. Programmes are not placed within departments, but the departments provide teaching for CBS’ programmes within their academic field.

PhD support

The CBS PhD Support manages the administration of PhD students in the PhD study at CBS. We provide counselling and guidance of current and future PhD students, supervisors, PhD coordinators, heads of department, heads of sesecretariat and external partners in all administrative matters relating to the PhD programme at CBS.
