Copen­ha­gen Busi­ness School (CBS) is an in­ter­na­tion­ally re­cog­nised busi­ness uni­ver­sity with deep roots in the Nor­d­ic so­cio-eco­nom­ic mod­el. With a broad so­cial sci­ence pro­file, CBS con­ducts re­search at the in­ter­sec­tion of busi­ness, so­ci­ety and lead­er­ship – with a strong fo­cus on dis­cip­lin­ary depth and in­ter­dis­cip­lin­ary in­sight.

Re­search with So­ci­et­al Im­pact

CBS addresses some of today’s most pressing societal challenges, including the green transition, responsible leadership, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and the future of work. Our strategy “We transform society with business” commits us to turning knowledge into action – in close collaboration with businesses, public authorities and civil society.

 

 

 

Research at CBS is organised across 11 departments and a number of research centres and cross-disciplinary initiatives. Together, they represent a significant share of Denmark’s leading research in fields such as sustainable leadership, finance, innovation, entrepreneurship, digital technologies, organisational studies and corporate governance.

The CBS PhD Sup­port man­ages the ad­min­is­tra­tion of PhD stu­dents in the PhD study at CBS. We provide coun­selling and guid­ance of cur­rent and fu­ture PhD stu­dents, su­per­visors, PhD co­ordin­at­ors, heads of de­part­ment, heads of ses­ec­ret­ari­at and ex­tern­al part­ners in all ad­min­is­trat­ive mat­ters re­lat­ing to the PhD pro­gramme at CBS.

SCAN­COR of­fers CBS schol­ars the chance to spend time at Stan­ford or Har­vard and join a glob­al com­munity work­ing on or­gan­iz­a­tions and lead­er­ship.
