PhD defence: Simon Krogh

In order to obtain the PhD degree, Simon Krogh has submitted his thesis entitled: 'Anticipating Organizational Change: A Study of the Pre-implementation Phase of Sundhedsplatformen.'

Friday, December 16, 2016 - 10:00 to 12:00

Existing organization research is characterized by an absence of studies focusing on the anticipation of organizational change. In this thesis focus is on the extended pre-implementation phase prior to the introduction of Sundhedsplatformen. It is demonstrated that the anticipatory pre-implementation phase is not simply passive waiting time for organizational members but rather a period where individuals prepare for pending changes in recurring and analyzable patterns. A conceptual model – the Anticipation Cycle - is built on the basis of the findings.
