This seminar focuses on the research process as applied to the student’s own dissertation topic. The seminar will examine the planning, structure, and writing process involved in the PhD dissertation and seeks to equip participants for publishing and conference presentations. The seminar seeks to advance the communication skills of participants so that they can actively engage in scholarly discourse. To achieve this objective, a variety of learning methodologies will be employed. These include lecture, critical analysis, practical management, writing skills, and presentations. Students are required to attend all classes.
