Choosing restorative growth
Bæredygtige løfter og strategier handler ofte om at reducere sit aftryk – at optimere forsyningskæden, sænke CO2-aftrykket og reducere produktionen. Men i stedet for at mindske virksomheders indflydelse, hvorfor så ikke køre forretningen, mens vi genopretter, genopbygger og regenererer vores mennesker og planet?
Ved arrangementet 'At reducere eller genopbygge?' så vi på, hvordan virksomheder kan fungere i et cirkulært økosystem. Ved at ændre tankesæt, lære af naturen og gentænke forretningsmodeller, kan virksomheder og medarbejdere nemlig skabe en betydelig social og miljømæssig påvirkning.
Oplægsholdere Simona Maschi og Christa Breum Amhøj talte om, hvordan en livscentreret og regenerativ tilgang kan øge virksomheders gennemslagskraft, sætte gang i innovation og fordre en mere holistisk tankegang om at gøre god forretning.
Meet our Experts
Christa Breum Amhøj
Christa has a PhD in Management Technologies and is an External Lecturer at CBS. As the founder of the collaborative platform and NGO, Action University Copenhagen, she implements action-leaning processes and life-centred designs in public organisations. Through WHOs Danish organization Healthy Cities Network (Sund By Netværket), she has helped more than 30 municipalities, through interdisciplinary teams, build communities through nature, art and culture and with citizens. Christa teaches on the 'Ledelse i den eksperimenterende organisation' course in our Master of Public Governance (MPG). At the event, she shared her knowledge about regenerative business cases and value creation in public governance and leadership.
Simona Maschi
Simona is the co-founder and CEO of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, a world-renowned centre of excellence focusing on education and design for sustainability. Through the years, she has used her design background to create an innovation culture that acts as a conduit between industry, academia and entrepreneurship. Simona explained how life-centred design as a practice and mindset can create new pathways for innovation.
