Primary research areas

DEI in Organizational Dynamics

Crafting strategies to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion across organizational structures, especially in multinationals and intercultural contexts.

Intersectionality in Global Employment

Investigating how gender, race, religion, ethnicity and nationality intersect to shape women’s employment experiences in multinational enterprises, while examining how corporate culture reinforces or challenges these dynamics in contexts such as Saudi Arabia and Denmark.

Political Violence & Democracy

Unpacking how gendered violence in political arenas undermines democratic participation, with insights drawn from Brazilian parliamentary experiences and election monitoring, as developed in my award-winning Master’s thesis, where I introduced the territorial typology of political violence.

Latin America: Enterprises, Human Rights & Social Inclusion

Examining how enterprises and economic actors influence human rights, gender equality, and political participation in Latin America, highlighting the role of business in driving or challenging social inclusion.

Digital Rights & Online hate

Exploring how digital platforms shape civic participation and the risks of online hate, especially against female and LGBTQ+ advocates in politics. Drawing on my role in advancing AI regulation in Brazil, my work with leading digital rights NGOs, and my publications on online gendered harassment.

Building equality as the foundation of prosperity

My research explores how enterprises and institutions can advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) while respecting cultural contexts and laws. I focus on women’s employment in multinational firms across the globe, examining how gender, race, ethnicity, religion and nationality shape workplace access and prosperity.

I combine strong methodological skills with originality, including the previous development of the territorial typology of political violence, awarded as the best Master’s dissertation at the University of Brasília. My work bridges academia and practice, engaging with intersectionality scholars.

Through this research, I support:

Businesses aligning DEI strategies with legal and ethical frameworks

Multinationals and Institutions designing inclusive and rights-based policies

Societies and business rethinking prosperity through equality, diversity and representation

I am motivated by building knowledge that connects law, business, and human rights to inspire more inclusive and sustainable futures.
