What's in it for the company?
An MBD is more than just professional development for the individual employee. Companies invest in MBD programmes because they strengthen professional competencies, introduce new perspectives and contribute to organisational development and growth. Here, you can learn how both employees and organisations benefit from the investment.
High expertise
Employees and managers with strong professional skills are updated on the latest research-based and practice-oriented knowledge in a variety of disciplines that relate to the company's business development.
New business opportunities and perspectives
Identify business opportunities and gain new perspectives on well-established routines and basic understandings of your organisation, customers and markets. Your employer will gain new connections and a network across the Danish business community and will be empowered to make more conscious choices in their future solutions, contributing to the development of your company's business.
Strengthened understanding of business development
Your employee will gain a deeper understanding of business development across the organisation and will be able to analyse and identify new opportunities – both internally through cross-functional collaboration and externally in the market.
A flexible and tailored master programme
The focus is on the individual employee's and company's needs in relation to the composition of the programme. If unexpected busy periods arise at work, there is ample opportunity to postpone and reschedule planned courses for later, when there is more time for developing skills.
Funding
Master of Business Development is a part-time continuing-educational postgraduate programme at master level and is, therefore, self-financed. Your employee takes one course at a time and you only pay for the courses they are signed up for.

Recommendations from our alumni
Kim Lundberg, Director of Tech & Venture Lending at EIFO
“The MBD has a strong emphasis on implementation – on what happens in practice rather than on designing the strategy itself. Things are changing so rapidly all the time that developing five-year strategic plans may not always be the right approach. At the very least, we need to recognise that strategies must be revisited and adjusted continuously.”
Anna Bjerre, CEO at GirlTalk
“In the NGO sector, many people come from a humanities background. The MBD has exposed me to entirely new perspectives, which has changed the way I think today. For example, when it comes to budgeting and finance.”
Betina Doktor, Consultant at Deloitte
“Overall, it has given me a theoretical framework to build on and inspiration for how I approach my work. It provides a structure that helps me navigate complex tasks and ensures that I address all aspects of a challenge. I now view things in a more holistic and comprehensive way.”
