Primary research areas

Global Value Chain Law

I’m interested in how value chains create and articulate their own norms and standards, between private and public law.

Agriculture and Food Production

I’m interested in how the law can shape socio-phenomena and be shaped by them, especially regarding food and wine production.

I strive to use theory to help understand complex challenges

I’m a PhD fellow at the Department of Business Humanities and Law, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. My research examines viniculture and the wine industry global value chains in Brazil and Chile in a comparative perspective.

I hold a Law Degree from the Higher Education Center IESB (Brazil), and a Master of Laws in Agrarian Law from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG – Brazil). I have practical and research experience in constitutional and administrative law, intellectual property rights, food sovereignty, biodiversity and seeds.

My academic work uses critical and systems theory to help understand and resolve social challenges. I use qualitative methods to create a nuanced diagnosis of the field and to challenge established theoretical concepts, blendind pratical solutions and theory building.
