What is Kompass?

Information on more than 59 million companies worldwide, including approximately 810,000 Danish companies. You can search a highly detailed product register and combine it with information such as company size, geographic location or revenue. The data in Kompass are based on information provided by the companies themselves.

Thousands of product codes and services

Kompass’ strength is its highly detailed product code system, which categorises companies into more than 55,000 different products and services.

In other standard industry code systems, such as DB25, NACE and NAICS, the maximum is around 800 categories. Kompass therefore enables you to search for products with far greater precision and identify competitors or customers without unnecessary noise.

Financial statements

Kompass contains key figures, but if you are looking for financial information, it is not the ideal source. Use Navne & Numre Erhverv for Danish companies and Orbis or Capital IQ for international companies.

Search by import and export markets

Another way to search is by identifying companies based on the markets they import from or export to.

When is Kompass useful?

The product-based search logic allows you to identify companies at a much more detailed and practical level than other company databases.
