APA PsycInfo is a comprehensive research database developed by the American Psychological Association. It contains references to millions of articles, books, chapters, dissertations and reports within psychology and related fields.
When is APA PsycInfo useful?
Use APA PsycInfo when you work with topics that have a psychological perspective and require an understanding of human behaviour – for example, HRM, leadership or organisation.
Search tips
Choose "Advanced Search" and use the options to refine your search:
- Filter by publication types and date ranges
- Filter by methodology, for example, field study or meta analysis
- Choose between different "Search Options" that either narrow or expand your searches
- Add Subjects from EBSCO’s subject list
