About the event

Geopolitical disruptions and a growing despair about the irresponsibility of big tech companies propel our current discussions about the need for Europe to build, shape and invest in digital infrastructures that are better aligned with our societal values and goals.

More autonomy and freedom of choice in the digital domain is no simple task, however, and will require both commercial, governmental and individual decisions that we have not faced before.

This discussion between Mikkel Flyverbom (Professor of Communication and Digital Transformations and member of the Danish government's Data Ethics Council) and Niels Jespersen (CIO at CBS) will explore how we got here and what choices we have to make moving forward - in Europe, in Denmark and at CBS.

This event is part of CBS Library & Academic Services' celebration of CBS research, and it contributes to the CBS research dissemination efforts.
