About the course
What you will learn
The aim of the course is to provide students with a strong theoretical foundation in global strategy with a focus on cross-border networks to give them the tools to make sound strategic decisions in a global context where networking within the firm's unit across space as well as with external partners geographically separate has gained strategic relevance. After this course, the student should be able to master the following learning objectives:
- Identify, evaluate and discuss key theories, frameworks and models in relation to global strategy
- Assess global market opportunities and threats
- Identify, evaluate and apply different theoretical perspectives on the firm's global strategy-making
- Analyze business case studies by applying relevant concepts and theoretical perspectives on global strategy
