My scholarly production lies at the intersection of public management & governance; globalisation studies; and discourse and communication

Dorte Salskov-Iversen (PhD 1992) is the Head of the Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC). When an active scholar, her research interests and expertise revolved around public management and governance; processes of globalisation; and discourse and communication. 

From 2007-2017, she served as Vice-President for International Affairs at Copenhagen Business School in addition to her Head of Department Responsibilities (till 2016) at the then Department of Intercultural Communication and Management. From 2007-2017, she was a member of the Executive Board of CEMS the Global Alliance of Management Education, from 2008-2017 as a member of the CEMS Management Team.  

She regularly serves as an expert in international higher education in the Nordic countries , and she represents MSC in the University of the Arctic (of which MSC is a member). She is currently a member of the International Advisory Board of Turku School of Economics, Turku University, Finland. She is moreover the Chair of the board of the private foundation Egmont H. Petersens College, Copenhagen, and then she is a member of the board of Allerød Gymnasium.

Member of the Board of Allerød Gymnasium, 2021–present

The Board is the govening body of Allerød Gymnasium, a self-governing institution located in the municipality of Allerød. The Board’s role is to oversee the school’s strategic and economic development.

Chair of the private foundation Egmont H.Petersens Kollegium, 2020–present

The board is responsible for the overall and strategic management of the foundation and shall safeguard the interests of the foundation in accordance with the purpose of the foundation, namely successfully running (and maintaining/improving) the Egmont Dormitory, the vibrant home of app. 510 students, enrolled at universities in Copenhagen and its environs.

Chair of the International Peer Review Panel charged by the Icelandic Agency for Quality Assurance to review Reykjavik University, 2024–2025

This Institution Wide Review of Reykjavik University (https://www.ru.is/en) was the first in the third cycle of institution-wide reviews undertaken by the Icelandic Agency for Quality Assurance, which will run from 2025 to 2029.
