Leadership, Organizational Development & Qualitative Research 

John Mogensen holds an academic background in public sector leadership, organizational development, and qualitative research methodologies. His work bridges research and practice, with interests in practice‑based learning, problem‑oriented project work, organizational sensemaking, and developmental evaluation. He has extensive experience from Roskilde University (RUC), where he has taught, supervised, and supported problem‑oriented project pedagogy across programmes. 

He is currently an External Lecturer at UCL in the Diploma of Leadership (DIL) programme, drawing on a broad professional career as a leader, an advanced practitioner, consultant, and organizational advisor in the public sector. He is appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science as an External Examiner (ekstern censor) across leadership and organizational studies (DIL and DOL).

- Lectures: BSc in Business Administration (CBS) business research methods; Diploma of Leadership (UCL); leadership, organizational development, philosophy of science and qualitative methods (RUC) 

- Supervision: DIL projects (UCL); problem‑oriented and project supervision (RUC) 

- Examination & grading: DIL and DOL oral exams
