I am a political scientist studying civil society organizations and their leaders from a comparative and an interdisciplinary perspective.
My research focuses on questions related to nonprofit governance and regulation, inequality and elites in civil society and the representational capacity of interest groups and movements in democratic and hybrid regimes in Europe.
Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the ERC-funded project ‘Moral Elites: The Historical Positioning of Civil Society Leaders in National Moral Economies’. Previously, I was a Senior Lecturer at the Political Science Department and a postdoctoral fellow in the ‘Civil Society Elites in Europe’ project at Lund University (Sweden). I hold a PhD in Political Science from the University of Exeter (UK) where I was a Research Associate in the ERC-funded ‘Regulating Civil Society Project’.
