Milka Ivan­ovska Hadjievska

I am a political scientist who combines comparative and interdisciplinary perspectives to study socially oriented organizations, with a focus on their leadership and governance. 

Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the ERC-funded MORALITES project, leading research on British elites who shaped social welfare reforms in the 20th century. 

I publish on civil society elites, governance, and democratic backsliding in leading international journals. My projects bridge academia and practice, informing how policymakers, NGOs, and professionals approach representation, legitimacy, and accountability in civic life.
