A new book, 'Job Quality in a Turbulent Era', co-edited by Professor Janine Leschke (Copenhagen Business School) and Senior Researcher Agnieszka Piasna (European Trade Union Institute), examines how structural changes are reshaping the concept of job quality.

The publication explores the implications of ongoing transformations such as digitalisation, the green transition, demographic change and increasing labour market fragmentation. It brings together a range of contributions that analyse developments including platform work, artificial intelligence, algorithmic management and multiple jobholding.

The book also highlights how access to and experiences of job quality vary across socio-economic groups, with particular attention to gender, class, and migration status.

Importantly, the volume broadens the understanding of job quality beyond individual well-being to include dimensions of fairness, sustainability and social inclusion.

Job Quality in a Turbulent Era is available as an open-access publication and can be accessed online here: https://www.elgaronline.com/edcollchap-oa/book/9781035343485/chapter1.xml
