How are digitalisation, artificial intelligence, sustainability requirements, geopolitical disruption and the need for resilience transforming the way companies design and manage their supply chains? These questions are at the centre of the new 5th edition of Logistik & Supply Chain Management, just published by Trojka/Gads Forlag.
The book is co-authored by Kim Sundtoft Hald, Professor at the Department of Operations Management at Copenhagen Business School, and Diana Cordes Feibert, PhD. Now in its 5th edition, it remains one of the very few comprehensive textbooks on logistics and supply chain management written in Danish — connecting established theories and models with cases from Danish and European companies and with the growing regulatory demands, from ESG reporting to due diligence requirements, that shape how supply chains are organised and managed today.
The new edition has been thoroughly revised and includes four entirely new chapters on digital transformation, sustainability and ESG, supply chain resilience, and innovation and implementation. Together, they reflect a field that has moved from the back office to the boardroom: supply chains are today a central concern for competitiveness, risk management and the green transition.
The book is written for students at universities and business academies, but also serves as an up-to-date reference for practitioners working in or alongside logistics, procurement and supply chain functions.
Logistik & Supply Chain Management, 5th edition, is accompanied by a companion casebook and online teaching resources.
