Who will oversee the strategic leadership of Northern Europe’s largest business school?

The recruitment process for a new chair of the CBS Board of Directors has begun. The posting has just been published, and the application deadline is 23 April.

“As chair of the Board of CBS, you will help shape the managerial and strategic framework for a university with a truly unique position in Denmark. A university that is closely connected with the business community through education, research and innovation,” says Lilian Mogensen, Acting Chair of the Board.

The posting states that the university is seeking someone with experience in strategic management of a large company or organisation, just as the CV should reflect experience from other boards as well as an in-depth understanding of education, research and innovation.

Societal impact

Nine out of ten graduates from CBS are employed in the private sector (91%). CBS’ research is at a high international level, and the goal is for it to create societal impact.

At CBS, the overarching objective is to contribute solutions to the challenges and transformations faced by the business community and the wider society.

The CBS Board of Directors consists of 11 members, of which 5 are chosen from among CBS’ students and employees, while 6 members are external, including the chair.
