What is SocINDEX?

SocINDEX with Full Text is one of the most comprehensive databases within sociology and the social sciences. It includes peer-reviewed journals, articles, book chapters and books in full text, as well as abstracts and references from thousands of publications.

When is SocINDEX useful?

It is particularly relevant for sociology students and researchers, but also for anyone working with social science topics.

Search tips

Choose "Advanced Search" and make use of the options to refine your search:

  • Filter by publication types and date ranges
  • Choose from "Search Options" to narrow or expand your searches using different search techniques
