In Mendeley, you can build your own fully searchable library of all your sources. You can upload and store PDF files, highlight important sections and add notes directly in your documents. This makes it easy to keep track of where you found a specific point or quotation.

Easy insertion of citations and reference lists

While writing, you can insert citations directly from Mendeley. The system automatically formats your citations correctly in the style you choose (APA, Harvard and others), and with just a few clicks, you can generate a complete reference list.

You can download Mendeley as a desktop app or log in via Mendeley.com. Your library follows you whether you are at the library, at home or on the move.

Mendeley is free for everyone, but CBS students and employees have access to a licensed version with more features. To maintain access to the licensed version, you must log in to Mendeley on the CBS network at least once a year – either on campus or via VPN.
