What you can find

EMIS Next is a comprehensive database with data and information on sectors, markets and private companies. There is a dedicated module with M&A deals that focuses on emerging markets. You will also find global news coverage from licensed partners and publicly available websites.

Based on more than 4500 sources from around the world, you can access information on 197 markets/countries and more than 370 sectors. You can find statistics, news, reports and other publications that offer insight into private companies, their finances, ownership structures as well as mergers and acquisitions. News from both local and global sources is updated daily.

EMIS Next is particularly useful when you need hard-to-find information on emerging markets.

Many languages and translation

Because the platform uses global sources, the news and reports appear in many different languages. Google Translate is integrated into the search interface so you can translate results into English. You can also translate your search terms into other languages in the search box.

Create a user account

If you create a user account, you can save searches and more. The menu on the left will then expand with Dashboard and Folders.

Search tips

The search box is a great place to start:

  • Use the search box to explore all content.
    Select the content type you prefer under the number of results.
    Fine-tune the filters on the left to narrow your results.

If you already know the geographical area or time period you need, you can set it in the filters next to the search box.

Company reports

Select “Companies” and search for the company you want insight into. Under the company name you will see different content types such as Reports, News, Market Data and Company in industry. A wide range of sources contribute content, and you can view them in the left menu under Sources and filter by the ones you find relevant.

Insight into countries and sectors

Select “Markets” in the left navigation menu to explore either country or sector profiles.

In the “Com­pany Com­par­is­on” tool you can com­pare up to ten com­pan­ies. You choose which data to com­pare and ex­port to Ex­cel. For ex­ample, this could be rev­en­ue, EBIT or mar­ket cap­it­al­isa­tion.
