What is Emerald Insight?

Emerald Insight is Emerald Publishing’s online platform that contains peer reviewed journals, e-books and cases. A considerable amount of the material has been published as Open Access, which means that you do not need to be affiliated with CBS to access it.

The platform provides access to content within the publisher’s core areas such as business, management, economics, HR, organisation, strategy and related fields.

Search tip

The library has not purchased access to all content in Emerald Insight, so it is a good idea to tick “Available” at the bottom of the menu.

Emerald’s teaching cases give students the opportunity to work with real business challenges and strengthen their decision-making skills before they encounter them in practice.

All cases are peer reviewed and come with teaching notes that support active learning and discussion. In addition, Emerald offers more than 1000 licensed cases from leading business schools around the world and 1500 cases on emerging markets.
