What is BSU?

Business Source Ultimate is a comprehensive business database. It provides access to a wide range of resources within economics, management, marketing, finance, supply chain, HR and related fields.

The database includes academic peer-reviewed journals as well as practice-oriented material, which makes it particularly suitable for business studies.

You can find:

  • academic articles from peer-reviewed journals
  • articles from trade publications
  • SWOT analyses, cases, videos
  • industry and market reports at country and regional level from IHS Markit, MarketLine, Countrywatch and several other report providers

When is BSU useful?

Librarians at CBS often recommend that students and researchers search for articles in Business Source Ultimate. It is tailored to business studies, and you will almost always be able to find something relevant if you study or conduct research at CBS.

Subjects
"Subjects Authority" is a list of subject terms that EBSCOhost assigns to the articles. Use these terms to narrow or broaden your search results – or as inspiration for finding other relevant keywords.
Lists of journals
Under "Publications Authority", you can limit your search to specific journals, browse their tables of contents and see which publication years are included in the database.
Export references
Send references directly from EBSCO to Mendeley. This makes it easy to revisit the articles you want to use in your assignments or papers.
Peer reviewed articles
Articles that have been peer reviewed are marked with a special “Peer reviewed” label.
