Cutting-edge IT research
What is ACM Digital Library?
The ACM Digital Library is a digital collection published by the Association for Computing Machinery. It contains a comprehensive range of literature within IT, computer science and information technology, including academic articles, conference papers, journals, magazines and newsletters.
Conferences and proceedings
ACM and its Special Interest Groups (SIGs) organise more than 170 conferences, workshops and symposia worldwide every year. These events present and discuss the latest research within computer science and IT, often before it is published in journals.
The ACM conference proceedings are therefore a central source of cutting-edge knowledge.
From the front page, you can explore all ACM conferences, programmes, and the papers published as proceedings in connection with specific conferences.
Special Interest Groups
ACM’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are professional networks where leading researchers and experts share new insights across various IT and computer science fields. SIGs support academic communities, publish newsletters and magazines, recognise outstanding research, and organise conferences and activities at both local and global levels.
On each SIG’s homepage, you can subscribe to newsletters.
Researcher profiles
You can also explore researcher profiles for leading scientists, lecturers and practitioners in computer science and IT. Each profile shows the person’s research focus and provides links to their articles - a great way to discover relevant literature.
When is ACM Digital Library useful?
The database is ideal whenever you need high-quality literature on IT-related topics - whether you are looking for foundational research or the latest developments.
