Edward Nik-Khah is a Professor of Economics at Roanoke College. His current research explores the historical development of a platform-oriented “tech economics” and the rollout of platforms into precision medicine. His previously completed research has addressed such topics as the history of information, the political economy of science, neoliberalism, and market design.

David M. Berry is a Professor  at University of Sussex. His research is focusing on the theoretical and medium-specific challenges of understanding digital and computational media, particularly algorithms, software and code. His work draws on digital humanities, critical theory, political economy, social theory, software studies, and the philosophy of technology.
