Student Assistant for research projects within the Danish Power Inquiry
At the Department of Organization, we are looking for a Student Assistant to contribute to research projects conducted as part of the Danish Power Inquiry (Magtudredningen). The projects examine contemporary forms and dynamics of power in and around organizations and seek to develop new insights into how power is exercised, negotiated, and experienced in different organizational and institutional settings.
The projects are based primarily on qualitative research methods and involve different types of empirical material, including interviews, documents, and other textual sources.
Work tasks
The job will consist of assisting professor Nanna Mik-Meyer at the Department of Organization, CBS, with a range of research and administrative tasks related to the projects. Tasks may include:
- Collection and organization of qualitative data, including documents and interview material;
- Transcription and coding of qualitative data;
- Systematic searches for and mapping of academic literature and other relevant sources;
- Assistance with organizing research meetings, workshops, and other project activities;
- Other research and administrative tasks related to the projects.
Your workplace will be the Department of Organization, CBS.
Qualifications
We are looking for a student with a strong qualitative profile and an interest in research on power, organizations, and society. The ideal candidate:
- Is enrolled in a relevant social science programme;
- Has a strong interest in questions of power in organizations
- Has experience with qualitative research methods, such as interviewing, document analysis, and qualitative coding;
- Has a good command of both Danish and English;
- Is able to work independently, reliably, and professionally while also contributing to a collaborative research environment;
- Is interested in contributing to research conducted as part of the Danish Power
Salary and terms of employment
Employment takes place in accordance with the HK organisational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Publicly Employed Organisations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).
The salary currently ranges between DKK 145.73 and DKK 152.88 per hour and is dependent on previous employment in the office profession and level of education. The pension contribution amounts to 16% of the pensionable salary components.
It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an active student at a higher educational institution.
The job requires 12 hours a week and will be remunerated according to the price per hour established by the university.
The employment is time-limited for the period from mid-September and will end one year after.
