Peter Arnt Nielsen is and has been member of several legislative committees and working groups in Denmark and the European Union as well as at the Hague Conference for Private International Law. He is, inter alia, a member of Groupe européen de droit international privé, the European Association of Privat International Law, the International Academy of Comparative Law, and Academia Europaea. 

Peter Arnt Nielsen is through his law firm a certified arbitrator and a court mediator. He advises businesses, public authorities, and advocates, and he provides expert opinions, affidavits, and professional training.

Besides being a Professor at Copenhagen Business School,Peter is an External Professor at the College of Europe, Bruges, where he teaches EU Private International Law.
