Presentation and Academic Fields
My work focuses on how knowledge travels and becomes meaningful in practice, with particular attention to the uptake of ideas and lifelong learning. My core expertise lies in translating abstract management ideas into forms that are relevant and actionable in practice. I draw on perspectives from knowledge management, institutional theory, organizational culture, change management, and embodiment studies. I examine how individuals and organizations engage with ideas through identity and lived experience, shaping learning, engagement, and change over time. In teaching, I connect these perspectives to real-world organizational contexts.
I hold a PhD in Organization Studies from Copenhagen Business School, where I studied how management ideas are translated into practice through embodied and relational processes. I am currently an External Lecturer at the Department of Organization (IOA) at CBS, teaching Organizational Behavior with a focus on interactive and discussion-based learning. During my PhD, I was affiliated with WU Vienna University of Economics and Business as a Research Associate and a visiting researcher at Stanford University. My work is based on qualitative, multi-method research, including interviews, observations, and visual and diary-based approaches.
I supervise in the fields of organizational behavior, knowledge management, institutional theory, organizational culture, organizational identity, and change management. I welcome projects that explore how individuals and organizations engage with, interpret, and implement organizational practices and processes. I primarily supervise projects using qualitative methods.
