About
Designing Fair Choices in Health and Society
I am a professor of microeconomics at Copenhagen Business School, working at the intersection of health economics, welfare theory and fair resource allocation. My research helps public institutions and policymakers make better and fairer decisions, especially when resources are scarce.
I use microeconomic models and game theory to design systems that are both efficient and equitable. This includes guiding how we prioritize healthcare, structure social policies and evaluate fairness in collective choices.
Recent projects funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark (DFF) explore how economic principles can support fair decision-making in health care and digital markets. I am also part of the Connecting Copenhagen project, which examines how urban structure drives inequality. Whether improving access to treatment, ensuring fairness in platforms or addressing inequality, I aim to bring evidence and fairness into public choices.
