What is World Competitiveness Online?

World Competitiveness evaluates how well a country performs in global competition. It is assessed on factors such as economy, innovation, education, infrastructure and the framework for companies. The results show how attractive a country is for investment, business and talent. Each year, the competitiveness of more than 60 countries is evaluated.

Ranking and comparison

In a clear visual layout, you can explore statistical indicators for countries and regions.

You can select multiple countries and view country profiles. Each profile shows rankings from the past five years. The ranking is based on a wide range of criteria that examine economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure. Criteria and methods are described in Methodology.

Use Custom Search to compare selected criteria from 1995 onwards.
