What is Passport?
Passport from Euromonitor is a market database focusing on consumers, consumer goods, industries and country analyses worldwide. The database combines statistical data, market reports and analyses for more than 200 countries and covers topics such as consumer trends, retail, lifestyle, economy, demographics and digital markets.
Key elements of the content include:
- Industries: Contains data on markets across industries, market shares, market sizes and forecasts.
- Channels: Access to the themes Digital Shopper and Retail.
- Companies: In-depth profiles of companies.
- Products: Access to the theme Sustainability.
- Consumers: Includes trends and demographic development. Divided into categories such as the digital consumer, households, income and expenditure, lifestyle and more.
- Economies: Includes economic, demographic and marketing data at regional and national level, including the themes Business Dynamics, Commodities and Economy, Finance and Trade.
There is NO access to channels and products listed in grey or black text:
- Innovation (Product), E-commerce (Channel), Loyalty (Channel), Nutrition (via Industries – Food and nutrition), Cannabis (via Industries – Nicotine and cannabis), Sports (via Industries – Services) and Ingredients (via Industries – B2B).

In Passport, you can find detailed information on market shares for both companies and brands across industries and countries.
Under Company Shares or Brand Shares you can see which players dominate a market, how shares have changed over time and how the competitive landscape looks. The data can be shown as tables, graphs or exported to Excel.
Consumer behaviour and lifestyle analyses
Consumer Lifestyle reports in Passport provide a detailed insight into consumers’ lifestyles, attitudes and behaviour. You will find analyses of spending habits, values, leisure interests, technology use and health or sustainability trends.
The reports can be used to understand target groups, develop marketing strategies and compare how cultural and economic differences shape consumer behaviour globally.
