What is New Palgrave Dictionary of Economics?

Palgrave’s online economics dictionary contains the full eight-volume print edition from 2008 and is continuously updated with new articles.

You can also search and access articles from the older 1987 edition. In addition, the resource includes biographical entries on economists.

Although Palgrave is called a dictionary, many entries are long and thorough articles similar to articles in encyclopedias.

If you are unsure how to cite an article from the encyclopedia, click the How to Cite button. From there, you can copy a correct reference or export it to a reference manager such as Mendeley.
