FAQ for enrolled participants

What should I do if I can no longer attend a course?

If you are no longer able to attend a course, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing mbd@cbs.dk, and no later than the day before the course begins.

Please note:

  • Not paying the course fee does not count as cancelling your registration.
  • Some courses have waiting lists, so we appreciate being notified as early as possible so that we can offer your place to another participant.
  • Once the course has started, both your registration and payment are binding.

What happens if a course is cancelled?

If fewer than 10 participants have registered for a course six weeks before the first day of teaching, the course will be cancelled.

If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible and, if you wish, help you find another course.

Who can see my information?

Your name, job title, company and email address will appear on the course participant list.

The participant list is available to your lecturers and fellow participants.

If you do not wish to be included on the participant list, please contact us at mbd@cbs.dk.

Is catering provided during teaching days?

Yes. Catering is provided throughout the entire teaching day.

How do I access my course materials?

Your course will be available on Canvas no later than six weeks before the first teaching session.

Once the course is published:

  • Log in to Canvas using your CBS ID and password
  • Go to Courses in the menu
  • Mark your courses as favourites
  • Access them via the Dashboard

Here you will find course materials, practical information and other relevant updates.

How do I pay for my course?

You will not receive an automatic invoice.

Instead, you must initiate the payment process yourself in CBS’s E-payment system:

  • Log in with your CBS ID and password
  • Pay the fee yourself, or forward the payment to the person or organisation responsible for payment

How do I make sure I receive messages from CBS?

We recommend forwarding your CBS email to your private or work email address.

This ensures that you do not miss important messages regarding teaching, evaluations or payment reminders.

What should I do if my details change?

If you change job, position, name or any contact details, please let us know.

Send us an email – ideally with your updated email signature – and we will update your information accordingly.

Who should I contact if I have issues with my CBS ID or password?

CBS IT Support can assist with most IT-related issues, including problems with your CBS ID and password.

You can contact IT Support at:

Sales is More Than Just Selling - It's Value Creation

Procurement departments often know more about the market than salespeople themselves, and this is something companies should respond to, says MBD faculty member Mogens Bjerre from the research project Sales of Tomorrow.
