Improving procurement for organizations and society

Andrea Patrucco (Ph.D., Politecnico di Milano) is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Department of Operations Management at Copenhagen Business School, and currently Editor in Chief of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.

His research helps public and private organizations improve how they manage procurement, supplier relationships, and supply chains. He studies how organizations can build stronger buyer-supplier relationships, make better procurement decisions, and use supply management to create value for organizations and society.

Andrea works closely with government procurement organizations, including the National Association of State Procurement Officers and the National Institute of Government Purchasing. He also chairs the International Research Study on Public Procurement Research. His academic work has been published in journals across supply chain management, logistics, operations, procurement, and public management.
