Susanne Borch­er Stormer

Susanne Stormer has been appointed Leader in Residence at MSC from 1 September 2025 with special attachment to MSC’s Center for Sustainability. The appointment is part of CBS’ recently initiated Leader in Residence Programme, the purpose of which is to strengthen relations between CBS, leadership practitioners and the business community. It is a visiting appointment.

Susanne brings with her more than three decades of leadership at the intersection of business, society, and responsible governance, currently as Partner with responsibility for Sustainability Services at PwC Denmark, and prior to that a 20-year tenure at Novo Nordisk, where she played a central role in shaping the company’s global sustainability strategy and advancing integrated reporting practices. Through this work, she has continuously demonstrated how organisations can balance profitability with social and environmental stewardship.

She moreover serves on the boards of leading international organisations, including the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), and has contributed to international standard-setting bodies such as the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).

Susanne Stormer served as Adjunct Professor of Corporate Sustainability at MSC from 2013 to 2023 actively contributing to research and teaching developments in the field. As a Leader in Residence, Susanne Stormer will further engage in dialogue with the academic community and students about the effects of global developments in corporate sustainability and sustainability governance.
