Let's play with data and AI – investigating data science
Sine Zambach is an assistant professor at Department of Digitalization, Copenhagen Business School.
She holds a ph.d. degree in computer science and a master degree in bioinformatics. She has worked within data analysis in the educational sector, genetics and in a book publishing company. Her main focus is on artificial intelligence and machine learning in the educational sector.
Sine is an expert member of the governmental Digital Task Force for AI in the Public Sector since 2025. In addition, she serves on the board of EdTech Denmark and is a member of the Data Ethics Working Group at the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences (ATV) since 2022.

AI learning and AI literacy
In a more technical stream, I analyse how student and teacher performance can be measured using diverse data sources, drawing on insights from digital learning during COVID-19.
Data Studies – Data Diplomacy and Citizen Data Science
In related work, I study how citizen-produced COVID-19 data visualisations shaped Danish public debate and policy, conceptualising citizen data science as an extended peer community where non-experts enrich data interpretation and democratic processes.
