I want to know more about accounting innovations
My research and academic work focus on how organizations harness data, digital technologies, and management control systems to become more effective, transparent, and socially responsible. I am particularly interested in how accounting information systems, business analytics, and artificial intelligence can improve decision-making, strengthen accountability, and drive better performance. This work is increasingly vital as companies navigate rapid technological change while striving to maintain stakeholder trust, meet regulatory requirements, and build resilient organizations.
As the chief executive officer of a private company and a part-time researcher and educator at Copenhagen Business School, I am in a unique position to identify and pursue research that is not only academically rigorous but also highly relevant to practice. This dual perspective allows me to explore questions that matter both to scholars and to business leaders and to bring evidence-based insights into the classroom, where they help prepare the next generation of managers and decision-makers.
My ambition is to bridge the gap between theory and practice by developing knowledge that supports organizations in leveraging digital technologies responsibly, measuring and managing their social impact, and enhancing the quality of their controls. And accountability processes. I am motivated by the belief that better data and better systems can lead to better decisions—and, ultimately, to more sustainable and accountable businesses.
