The research topic description: My research area is auditing. I am interested in external and internal auditing in the private as well as the public sector. This includes different types of audit such as financial auditing, performance auditing, operational auditing, and compliance auditing
Auditing creates transparency in financial reporting and other types of reporting on governance.
My research helps:
- Companies and society to make better decisions based on reliable reporting
- Auditors to do more effective and efficient audits
- Audit regulators to make better regulation
