My research focuses on how marketing, identity, and ethics shape consumer behavior.

My research centers on consumer behavior, sustainability, ethical discourses in marketing, and food waste. I examine how marketing practices, consumer identities, and societal crises shape sustainable and ethical consumption patterns.

My work is published in journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics, Food Policy, Waste Management, Sustainable Production and Consumption, Appetite, and Food Quality and Preference. I have presented at major academic conferences, including EMAC, Pangborn, the International Food Marketing Research Symposium, and the Nordic Retail and Wholesale Conference.

I serve as a peer reviewer for journals such as Management Science, Journal of Business Ethics, and Food Policy, and I am actively engaged in collaborative research networks advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. My research has received international recognition, including being shortlisted for the Best Paper Award at the 48th EMAC Conference and receiving the 3rd Best Paper Award at the 20th EARCD Conference.

I hold a PhD in Management from Aarhus University (School of Business and Social Sciences), where my dissertation explored the relationship between retail price promotions and household-level food waste, and I have been a visiting researcher at the Stockholm School of Economics, Center for Retailing.
