What you will learn

  • Formulate and motivate research questions related to an international business, trade, investment, business environments, cross-cultural management, organisation or marketing issue in an Asian context
  • Select and apply consistently a relevant concept or theory in relation to the specified research questions
  • Review critically and comprehensively relevant academic literature to motivate research questions and/or discuss research findings
  • Motivate critically the adopted research design including the choice of methods, data sources and analyses as well as inherent limitations
  • Apply rigorously quantitative or qualitative methods to investigate the proposed research questions
  • Evaluate research findings in the context of the exsiting academic literature
  • Formulate contributions, limitations as well as suggestions for further research
  • Access and use literature, data, or other sources of information available in Mandarin and/or Japanese language in the research process
