Global politics, GenAI and supply chain management

Working on understanding how global supply chains work in an era of geopolitical turmoil, while GenAI at the same time threatens with unprecedented disruptive potential.

Theorizing in management studies

Advancing the frontier of knowledge generation in management studies, focusing on the use of AI in theorizing, novel ways of theorizing in supply chain management, and new approaches to ideational work in research processes.

Figuring out how society can benefit responsibly from Generative AI

I advance a grounded use and understanding of Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT) in practice. My research sits at the intersection of GenAI and supply chain/operations, and examines how GenAI also reshapes research work and organizing.

I integrate supply chain and general management theory with organizational, political and philosophical lenses to explain how humans make sense of GenAI and how these interpretations travel into decisions, performance, and governance.

Beyond research, I collaborate with firms and public organizations to study and support responsible GenAI adoption; I’m a frequent media commentator, speaker and workshop facilitator. At CBS I help build capability through courses and faculty training on GenAI.

I teach organizational economics, qualitative methods and process-tracing, and my teaching reaches across bachelor, master, diploma (HD1) and executive programmes (MPG).
