Noa Ce­lestini

I am a Research Assistant at Department of Management, Society, and Communication, where I contribute to research on sustainable development, climate change, food systems, and responsible business practices. My work is driven by a simple belief: research should help us better understand real-world challenges and support more informed decisions.

I am currently involved in four research projects at CBS. In MAPOCAVU, I examine how climate change and market power affect food security and vulnerability in Tanzania, with the goal of generating evidence for more resilient and equitable food systems. In D-CORE, I contribute to research on the hidden human costs of digital platform work, focusing on content moderation and the governance challenges associated with responsible business conduct in the digital economy.

I also contribute to Africa, Business and Society (ABS), which seeks to strengthen collaboration between African and European universities and promote more inclusive perspectives in business education and research. Across these projects, I work with quantitative analysis, geospatial data, and interdisciplinary methods to better understand how economic, environmental, and social processes affect people's livelihoods. 

My academic interests lie at the intersection of food security, climate resilience, development, and the use of data for public good. I hope to contribute research that is both academically rigorous and socially relevant.
