Presentation and academic fields
External Lecturer at CBS and Associate Professor at DTU Engineering Technology. I teach and supervise within managerial economics, investment and finance, economic implications of AI, international business, strategy, and sustainability-oriented business development. My academic interests lie at the intersection of economics, globalization, finance, technology/AI, and sustainable business, including investment appraisal, emerging markets, and value creation from green and circular solutions.

I currently focus much on economic implications of artificial intelligence on jobs, companies and competitiveness.

Professional and/or academic experience
I have taught at CBS since 1994 across undergraduate and graduate programmes and currently also serve as Associate Professor and Head of Studies at DTU. My professional background includes investment management, export credit, and international business development through roles in investment funds, export finance, and consultancy with activities in Europe, Africa, and other emerging markets. I am author and co-author of textbooks in investment and finance, managerial economics, and globalisation, and I contribute to applied research on economic implications of artificial intelligence.

I head an elective on Financial Analysis of Foreign Direct Investments in Emerging Markets and Developing Countries in collaboration with Novo Nordisk.

I serve as Advisory Board member and Strategic Advisor to an international company within AI and Digital transformation.

I am a member of the national corps of external examiners in Managerial Economics.

Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
Extensive experience with lectures for both small classes and large cohorts, case-based teaching, workshops, and intensive courses for students with diverse disciplinary backgrounds. My teaching approach combines analytical rigour with practical application, real-world cases, and close links between theory and decision-making. I supervise bachelor and master projects within finance, international business, AI, and interdisciplinary business development.
