Possibilities for Democratic Governance and Sustainable Investments
I study finance, climate, and democracy, combining approaches such as economic sociology, intellectual history, and philosophy. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher, leading a three-year Carlsberg project divided between MSC and SCORE (Stockholm Centre for Organizational Research, Stockholm University). This project will examine the degree to which Danish pension funds’ climate-related investment policies have been shaped by the funds’ type/degree of member democracy, the influence of fossil-fuel divestment campaigns, fund-specific characteristics, and prevailing financial structures.
My PhD (intellectual history, Aarhus University) focused on the development of financial theories and laws that shape Danish pension funds’ decisions regarding fossil-fuel investments.
