Presentation and academic fields
My prime academic interests is in the area of multi-national firms operating in emerging economies and developing countries with a particular focus on market entry and the determinants of subsidiary performance in an African context. My teaching portfolio has included: International business; Firm strategy; and Foreign direct investment in developing countries.
Professional and/or academic experience
I had an extensive international managerial career, and I strive to conduct my teaching and supervision in a participative form including ample references to my practical experience. My PhD thesis (2021) is entitled 'Performance Determinants - An Investigation of the Relationship between Resources, Experience and Performance in Challenging Business Environments'.
Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
I supervise Master's and Bachelor's theses as well as Internship reports in the fields of International Business, Strategy and Business Development.
