Presentation and academic fields
I am an expert in sustainability governance, especially with regards to companies' supply chains and supplier engagement. I am interested both in what motivates companies to act and when, but also which approaches to deploy, the utility of those approaches, and ultimately, the effectiveness of different approaches at solving sustainability challenges in both the short- and long-term. My research pays particular focus to private governance, partnerships and collaborations, voluntary standards and certifications, and the interaction between public and private governance mechanisms.

Professional and/or academic experience
I currently work full-time as a sustainability consultant to some of the world's biggest companies in my capacity as Associate Director, Nature & Climate at BSR. More information can be found here.

I continue to publish on topics related to sustainability governance. See my publication list here.

Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
I supervise student topics related to private governance, partnerships and collaboration for sustainability, sustainable supply chain management through collaboration or initiatives. My academic expertise is in the fashion industry, but I have worked practically with companies across consumer goods, energy, extractives, tech, and finance.
