My research focuses on the Danish business environment

Ken L. Bechmann has researched the Danish business environment for many years. His work has attracted significant media attention and has informed new regulations and official recommendations.

He has served on numerous expert committees and has advised institutions such as the National Audit Office (Rigsrevisionen), the Committee on Corporate Governance, various ministries, and the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) on financial matters. He has also acted as an expert judge and appraiser in several legal cases.

Ken is a co-founder of the Board Leadership Society at CBS and Editor-in-Chief of the Danish finance journal Finans/Invest.

He has served as a board member and chairman of several Danish companies and funds and has received both international and Danish awards for his teaching and research.
