I focus on how sustainability transforms organizations
I am Professor of Business in Society at the CBS Centre for Sustainability and Associate Dean of the CBS Full-Time MBA Program. My research examines how regulation and corporate governance can facilitate sustainability transformation in organizations. I have published over 60 peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals and have authored or edited eight books with academic publishers such as Stanford University Press and Cambridge University Press.
My work is driven by a strong commitment to advancing sustainability through impactful research, teaching, and engagement. I am frequently cited in Danish and international media, including the Financial Times, CNN, and Bloomberg. I have collaborated with numerous companies on sustainability strategies and worked with the United Nations Global Compact. I currently serve on several advisory boards, including Novo Nordisk’s Sustainability Advisory Council.
I am also an experienced and award-winning educator, having led several executive education programs focused on sustainability transformation.
