| Marie Louise Nosch, Professor of Ancient History at the Saxo Institute, University of Copenhagen, and former President of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, will discuss her recent book, The Time of Textiles in Ancient Greece (De Gruyter, 2025). In conversation with Silviya Svejenova, she will explore the multiple temporalities of textiles - from biological ages, seasons, rhythms, and cultural eras to the modern industrial temporalities of production and waste - as well as the gendered dimensions of textiles and fashion. |
